Description
Designed by snowboarding legend Jess Kimura, the Capita The Equalizer is a high-performance all-mountain and freeride board specifically for women. Inspired by her transition from the streets to the backcountry, this board offers the perfect balance of power, control and playfulness.
The redesigned RESORT V2 Directional camber profile combines positive camber for stability and edge grip with reverse camber in the nose and tail for effortless float in powder. The META Core™ delivers responsive flex, while Technora™ Flax Boosters add extra power and pop. The ultra-fast Quantum Drive™ sintered base makes this one of the most technically advanced women's freeride boards on the market.
Shape
Directional - with this shape the binding is positioned a bit more to the back, giving the board a longer nose. This makes the snowboard perfect for freeride and all-mountain riding, giving you more float in powder.
Rocker Type
Resort V2 Directional Profile - this profile has a raised camber platform through the inserts, which provides high speed edge hold on variable terrain. Furthermore, the board has raised contact points that allow you to easily land and float in powder. The Flat Kick tip and tail bows allow for faster and more aggressive transitions.
Flex rating
5.5/10 - with a flexibility rating of 4.5 to 6.5, these snowboards are stable on the slopes and offer enough flexibility for the park. It is the perfect balance between stability and forgiveness.
Core
Meta Core™ - an extremely light P2 Superlight Core™ containing high flexing and shock absorbing Beech stingers running through the inserts for more power and even more pop.
Base
Quantum Drive™ Base - formulated with a progressive blend of compressed ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene. An evolution of the already lightning-fast ULTRADRIVE™, this running base has higher density for durability and absorbs more wax for longer life and faster ride.
Binding Compatibility
2x4 - This system is the most common pattern for snowboards today. Two rows of inserts are provided 2 inches apart. This allows for different stand widths. To attach your snowboard binding, you need four screws in the 2x4 system.
Terrain
All-Mountain|Freeride - these snowboards are perfect for all-mountain exploration and offer versatility and float in powdery conditions. If you are looking for a snowboard that performs well in fresh snow, the BRAND + NAME BOARD snowboardis an excellent choice.
Rider level.
Intermediate|Advanced - Intermediate and advanced snowboards are designed for most snowboarders who already have a little more experience and are looking for new challenges and thrills on the slopes.
