Description

The Jones Ultralight Stratos 2025 Splitboard is an ultralight splitboard made to extend your reach and push your riding potential in the backcountry. A tapered directional freeride shape combined with an energetic freestyle board feel make this split incredibly versatile and maneuverable in mixed conditions.

Shape

Directional - With this shape, the binding is a bit more backwards so your splitboard has a longer nose. As the name suggests, this is primarily a freeride|all-mountain snowboard that gives you more float in powder.

Rocker Type

Directional Rocker - this is a hybrid profile with more rocker in the tip and camber between the bindings. This gives you more maneuverability, edge grip and response.

Flex rating

7/10 - Going hard on the slopes is no problem with the stiffest splitboards. This hard flex offers the highest response and support. A powerful splitboard for powerful boarders.

Core

Fusion CoreJones' lightest wood core to date. The core is made of primarily paulownia with specially placed pockets of poplar for improved durability and response.

Base

3D Contour Base 3.0 - freeride focused 3D Contour Base with a 7mm spoon bevel in the nose and 0 - 7mm spoon bevel in the tail. The spoon bevel starts at the rocker tip.

Terrain

Splitboarding: All-Mountain|Freeride - These boards are designed to be split into two halves, making it easy to go uphill. Simply attach your touring bindings to the board halves and hit the road! When you're ready to head down the mountain, snap the two halves back together to form a full snowboard. This way you can enjoy the best of both worlds during your backcountry adventures.

Rider level

Intermediate|Advanced - Intermediate and advanced snowboards are designed for most snowboarders who are more experienced and looking for new challenges and sensations on the slopes. These snowboards usually have a stronger core and are often wider and stiffer than snowboards for beginners. They are ideal for snowboarders looking for more speed, stability and control at higher speeds and on steeper slopes.
