The iconic Capita Defenders Of Awesome 2025 Snowboard is back. The Defenders of Awesome series has been a household name in the snowboard world for years, and this model has won the most coveted design award seven years in a row. The D.O.A. features a new generation hybrid camber design that combines the pop and response of a camber board with the predictability of reverse camber. It is now available in an extended range of wide sizes so everyone can enjoy this great board.
The P Superlight Core™ provides a lightweight board with maximum pop and high impact resistance. The snowboard also features additional construction technology such as Fortress™ Aramid Bound Sidewalls and a high-speed Quantum Drive™ base, taking you farther than you ever dreamed. The D.O.A. series is known as the ultimate go-anywhere, do-anything freestyle deck.
Shape
True Twin - a snowboard with true twin shape, like this Capita Defenders Of Awesome is best suited for snow park, kickers and rails. These snowboards have a perfectly symmetrical shape where the nose and tail are exactly the same length. The flex and camber are equal in the nose and tail. With this shape you can easily switch between goofy and regular snowboarding. This shape combines the flexibility of a twin tip with the stability of a directional board for a smooth ride on any slope.
Rocker Type
Resort V1 Camber - the perfect blend of traditional camber, zero camber and reverse camber. This rocker type offers you the ultimate combination of pop and response of a camber board, while the predictability and smoothness in turns are similar to zero camber or reverse camber shapes. With this technology, you can snowboard on any terrain, from park to piste, and enjoy perfect turns and jumps.
Flex rating
5.5/10 - with a flexibility rating of 4.5 to 6.5, these snowboards are stable on the piste and offer enough flexibility for the park. It is the perfect balance of stability and forgiveness for everyday use.
Core

Binding Compatibility
2x4 - This system is the most common pattern for snowboards today. Two rows of inserts are provided 2 inches apart. This allows for different stand widths. To attach your snowboard binding, you need four screws in the 2x4 system.
