Selecting the right size skateboard trucks.

We have listed the trucks of the different brands below by truck width. You adjust this to the width of your deck. For example, if you have a skateboard deck of 8.0", then you should also take a truck with a width of 8.0". You can go up to 0.125" above or below if you prefer. However, we recommend that you align your trucks perfectly with your deck for optimal stability and turning ability.

Properties of trucks.

Just like all skateboard parts you use, your trucks wear out. Fortunately, you can simply replace the quality skateboard trucks. A skateboard always contains 2 trucks. These consist of a hanger with the axles, a baseplate, the kingpin and bushings. Depending on the material they are made of, they have a different weight, budget and durability.

Different types of trucks:

• Standard trucks are often the cheapest and are already of very high quality from top brands.
• 'Light' and 'Hollow' trucks are a class higher and therefore lighter in weight. They are made lighter in strategic places while maintaining the sturdiness to make it easier to perform tricks.
• Titanium trucks are the highest class. They are very light and stronger than all other trucks. So you pay a little more for them but they last longer.
